With HBOMAX getting ready to release "Dune" in October 2021, we started trying to remember the original Dune movie... and then realized that George Lucas owes his DIRECT INSPIRATION for the ORIGINAL STAR WARS to it!!! Dare we say, STRAIGHT UP STOLE!?!? We didn't believe it either... and then we found stories of die hard "DUNE" fans complaining about this since STAR WARS WAS RELEASED!!!! There are too many things that are SIMILAR to disregard the facts!
So we watched the 1984 Dune movie and googled all we could to find out the facts! Did Lucas steal all his ideas in "Star Wars: A New Hope" from "DUNE" by Frank Herbert (published in 1966)? And which movie was better? (no contest there... lol). You decide!
